Responsibilities

Define technical strategy and lead architectural design for end-to-end cloud, data, and AI/ML engagements.
Architect scalable multi-cloud and hybrid cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.
Design data warehouses, data lakes, batch and streaming pipelines, AI/ML systems, model-serving platforms, MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and LLM-based applications.
Set infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and DevOps standards and lead cloud migrations and platform modernization initiatives.
Drive performance, scalability, cost, reliability, security, governance, and compliance improvements across deployed systems.
Partner with clients and senior leadership on technical strategy, communicate architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and maintain architecture standards and documentation.
Mentor experienced engineers and architects, evaluate emerging technologies, and own difficult architectural and integration decisions.

8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in technical leadership roles.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong experience with microservices, serverless, containers, event-driven systems, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
Strong data architecture experience across relational, NoSQL, and big data systems, including data modeling, ETL/ELT, and orchestration.
Production experience designing AI/ML systems, including LLMs, MLOps, and model serving.
Strong software engineering skills with Python, APIs, and containerization, plus understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and access management.
Experience with governance, compliance, observability, stakeholder communication, senior technical leadership, and mentoring experienced engineers.
Demonstrable use of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.
Multi-cloud architecture, responsible AI or AI ethics, enterprise architecture certifications, and SAP EAM integration experience are helpful extras.
