Responsibilities
- Define scalable AI system architectures and translate ambiguous business opportunities into technical approaches.
- Lead the design and implementation of ML systems, model services, inference pipelines, AI platforms, and agentic orchestration frameworks.
- Build training, evaluation, deployment, data ingestion, feature engineering, and model-serving workflows.
- Establish LLMOps practices, prompt versioning, model observability, reliability standards, and cost-efficient AI infrastructure.
- Operationalize research prototypes into production systems and define evaluation, validation, and rollout strategies.
- Mentor AI engineers, lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and guide tradeoffs across performance, scalability, cost, and complexity.
- Partner with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to shape AI roadmaps and align initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied machine learning.
- Proven experience designing and deploying production AI systems.
- Strong software engineering background in Python or a similar language.
- Experience with distributed systems, scalable data architectures, ML pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.
- Deep understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management, AI infrastructure, reliability, observability, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, architectural judgment, mentoring experience, and strong communication skills.
- Preferred experience with generative AI, LLM systems, retrieval-augmented architectures, multi-agent systems, cloud-based AI platforms, infrastructure-as-code, consulting or professional services, and regulated or security-sensitive domains.
- Hands-on AWS experience and AWS Associate or Professional certification, or equivalent practical AWS expertise, are preferred.
