Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, maintain test cases, develop test automation features, and test software across the lifecycle.
- Develop and support functional and non-functional test automation strategies for large Agile projects.
- Create, automate, and execute test cases covering user-story acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain test automation frameworks, regression packs, test data, and test data generators.
- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines and minimize test flakiness.
- Prepare test plans, test risk assessments, test results, status reports, and other testing documentation.
- Coordinate test environments and perform system integration, user acceptance, sprint, and release testing.
- Submit, monitor, retest, and manage defects while verifying SIT and UAT entry and exit criteria.
- Participate in Agile planning, estimation, backlog management, ceremonies, demos, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Collaborate with business, operations, product, and development stakeholders to understand requirements and achieve sprint objectives.
Requirements
- Strong experience analyzing requirements for test-case creation and executing user-story tests.
- Strong experience developing test automation features using UFT and/or Selenium with Java.
- API testing experience is required.
- Experience with Quality Centre/ALM, Confluence, Jira, SOAP UI, Filetransfer, and SQL Developer.
- Postman experience is an additional benefit.
- Willingness to perform manual testing for at least one year while identifying automation candidates.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with Agile tooling and methodology.
- Knowledge of investment business and its operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and English-language skills, with a proactive, collaborative, learning-oriented approach.
