Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with provider practices and insurance systems using APIs, web scraping, or robotic process automation.
- Participate in client discovery sessions to map workflows and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ship custom integrations quickly and refine them based on real-world user feedback.
- Contribute to core product development when integration work is not the main priority.
- Develop understanding of the US provider and payer landscape.
- Attend in-person team or client meetings and travel as needed.
Requirements
- Two to five years of full-stack engineering experience building and shipping features.
- Experience owning features or products from discovery through delivery, ideally in a startup or small team.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and using AI coding tools in production work.
- Proficiency with Python and FastAPI or a similar backend framework, plus React and TypeScript or comparable frontend technologies.
- Familiarity with Postgres, AWS or GCP, and version control tools such as GitHub.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with web scraping, RPA, US healthcare, provider or payer systems, and production AI or LLM applications is valued.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 to $230,000 USD annually.
- Hybrid role based in New York City with in-person meetings and some travel as needed.
