Software Engineer (Web) - Future Contract Opportunities

Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to discover, scope, and deliver full-stack applications from ambiguous briefs through production.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications across the stack using React, Next.js, TypeScript, backend frameworks, and cloud platforms.
- Prototype and productionize AI-enabled features involving LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, intelligent automation, evaluation, guardrails, and cost/latency awareness.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and implement infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines.
- Develop automated tests, including AI feature evaluation harnesses, and maintain application reliability and quality.
- Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Communicate technical constraints and AI capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences while managing delivery expectations with client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack web engineering capability and comfort working directly inside client teams on ambiguous problems.
- Ability to build and ship production software using the listed web technologies and modern backend and cloud platforms.
- Ability to identify appropriate AI use cases and understand the capabilities and limitations of AI systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, code review, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience taking AI features from prototype to production, including monitoring, evaluation, and iteration.
- Preferred experience with microfrontends, monorepos, shared internal libraries, CI/CD and DevOps tools, authentication, monitoring, logging, application security, complex software architecture, and model fine-tuning or distillation.
