Responsibilities
- Lead cross-squad technical initiatives to design and build modular, globally scalable backend solutions.
- Act as the technical bridge between engineering squads and operational stakeholders to architect reliable systems.
- Define and drive engineering best practices around system design, code quality, and maintainability.
- Optimize complex data workflows and event-driven architectures for production and scaling needs.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Shape the technical roadmap by identifying architectural bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
Requirements
- Extensive backend engineering expertise, ideally within JVM-based ecosystems (Kotlin or Java).
- Proven track record of designing and operating highly scalable, event-driven systems using messaging technologies.
- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Solid understanding of modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) and observability practices.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving with strong technical judgment and a passion for mentoring.
