
Senior Software Engineer - Hextech, Gameplay
Riot GamesResponsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain gameplay tooling and engine software systems with emphasis on quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and improve team engineering practices.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, producers, and engineers to understand workflows and implement and test features.
- Debug live environments and development pipelines, participate in on-call rotation, resolve incidents, and propose solutions in root-cause analyses.
- Write technical documentation and communicate across disciplines.
- Mentor more junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience and proficiency with C++.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating across disciplines.
- Preferred experience with multiplayer systems, content pipelines, telemetry, build systems, game engines, Perforce, or GitHub.
