
Senior Software Engineer, VALORANT - Release Engineering
Riot GamesResponsibilities
- Maintain, upgrade, and strengthen the global VALORANT release pipeline.
- Drive automation and technical processes that improve release pipeline longevity.
- Lead development efforts to solidify and automate domain areas.
- Implement testable, robust engineering solutions for complex release problems.
- Break down and execute multi-month development efforts.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Participate in team support rotations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining live-service products with a focus on developer experience.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code and communicate technical concepts across disciplines.
- Expertise maintaining and improving orchestration pipelines such as Jenkins, Horde, or similar tools.
- Professional or hobby experience with Unreal Engine.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of professional C# and/or Groovy experience.
- Preferred qualifications include expert Jenkins proficiency, global release-flow orchestration, workflow automation, automated build/test/release pipelines, C++, GitHub Actions, and cross-functional collaboration experience.
