Base Salary
$200k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build graph-based retrieval systems and semantic search and ranking infrastructure.
- Develop knowledge representations, entity relationships, and data models supporting reasoning and personalization.
- Build recommendation, matching, agent-powered workflow, and AI-enabled user experience systems.
- Create core platform capabilities shared across multiple products.
- Shape product direction, technical architecture, roadmap, and company strategy as an early founding team member.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong architectural and systems design skills.
- Experience building and operating production systems at scale.
- Experience with graph databases, knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, entity resolution, search infrastructure, retrieval systems, ranking systems, recommendation systems, or large-scale data platforms.
- Ability to move from idea to implementation without detailed specifications.
- Strong engineering foundations in data systems, search, and knowledge representation; experience with LLM-powered products, agents, retrieval-augmented systems, or AI applications is valuable.
- Previous startup or founding engineer experience, 0-to-1 product development, technical leadership, talent or recruiting technology, career development, psychometrics, organizational design, or human performance experience is a bonus.
