Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, and test innovative Android applications for financial-services clients.
- Own the technical direction and delivery of client engagements while guiding and multiplying the effectiveness of engineers.
- Design systems, write code, guide architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, designers, product partners, leadership, product owners, technologists, and users.
- Break down complex problems into technical solutions and promote strong software architecture, development practices, and new technologies.
- Help build and modernize consumer banking experiences, including onboarding, account management, money movement, and capabilities for new markets and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading Agile teams.
- Expert-level experience building production Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience in consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for mobile applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with fraud management, KYC, AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, published Google Play Store applications, and AI-assisted development tools.
- College degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is listed as a bonus qualification.
