Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ericsson’s Purpose Build RAN Layer 1 Baseband software.
- Develop new-generation 5G and 6G RAN software.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, test creation, debugging, documentation, and code review.
- Participate in feature development, debugging, testing, code reviews, and continuous integration activities.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, system engineers, and testers across global teams.
- Contribute to software quality, test coverage, maintainability, continuous improvement, and AI/ML-enabled product features.
Requirements
- Recently completed or soon to be completed a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
- Practical Python experience for data processing, experimentation, or machine learning through coursework, thesis work, or personal projects.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with an interest in software engineering, high-performance systems, and telecommunications.
