Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Managers, customers, and engineering peers to understand challenges and design effective solutions.
- Measure and use data to guide decisions, analyze systems and processes, and identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Design, test, code, and instrument new software solutions.
- Apply and strengthen engineering practices involving TDD, BDD, microservice architecture, and vertical slice architecture.
- Support live applications through proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor peers, participate in continuous learning, and independently apply team processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with C#, modern relational database systems, ASP.NET RESTful API design, and modern web UI frameworks and libraries.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with an interest in learning modern technologies.
- Knowledge of or willingness to quickly learn Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Azure, Docker, and Kafka/event-driven design is preferred.
