Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own identity end-to-end, managing user authentication and authorization.
- Lead the design of role-based and attribute-based access control systems.
- Build and operate scalable notification infrastructure for various channels.
- Drive architectural decisions and write RFCs to set technical direction.
- Ship high-quality systems quickly, breaking down ambiguous problems.
- Integrate AI tooling into engineering workflows for enhanced productivity.
- Mentor peers and elevate team performance through knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, and engineering teams to deliver capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
- Deep expertise in identity systems and authentication protocols.
- Experience designing multi-tenant identity models.
- Hands-on experience with notification infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Strong command of at least one backend language and relational database design.
- Track record of leading technical design and driving team alignment.
- Active fluency with AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows.
- Security-minded approach to identity and notification systems.
