Base Salary
$115k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure software tools and microservices.
- Design software subsystems that promote code reuse and follow established technical standards.
- Develop and integrate custom APIs, including APIs exposing AI/ML model outputs.
- Deploy and manage Google Kubernetes Engine clusters and cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated software building, testing, and deployment.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, and alerting with Google Cloud’s operations suite.
- Perform security patching, address vulnerabilities, and apply secure coding best practices with security teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
- DoD 8570.01-M or DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+, is required.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience is required, with the posting seeking 3-5+ years.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, and Bash is required.
- Experience with Docker and foundational Kubernetes orchestration is required.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI or Jenkins and CI/CD principles is required.
- Knowledge of GCP cloud networking, VPCs, firewall rules, and secure coding principles is required.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Apache Spark or Apache Airflow experience, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification, and experience in regulated DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
