Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and unit test software applications.
- Write well-documented code with test automation that meets design and code quality criteria.
- Deliver high-performance and scalable code.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability hotspots.
- Participate in maintenance, troubleshooting, testing activities, and test reviews.
- Perform peer code reviews and guide other team members.
- Apply current software development best practices and disciplined development practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an individual-contributor software developer.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science; a master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is also mentioned.
- Very strong Java/J2EE development skills and object-oriented analysis and design knowledge.
- Strong reasoning, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with enterprise-wide applications is preferred.
