Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on manual testing of product features as they ship.
- Decide what to test, when to test, and which product areas warrant automation.
- Reproduce and narrow down bugs reported by customers.
- Coordinate testing across feature areas for larger launches.
- Write and expand Playwright end-to-end tests using the existing suite and page object structure.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and SDETs on product quality and testing.
- Conduct manual API testing and cross-browser testing.
- Learn the product deeply and test real pull requests during onboarding.
Requirements
- Strong product instincts and the ability to test from a user’s perspective.
- Strong bug reproduction and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to scope independent testing work and determine appropriate coverage.
- Comfort writing code and reading other people’s code.
- Some end-to-end testing experience and interest in growing automation skills.
- Clear, concise written communication.
- Self-sufficiency and sound judgment about when to ask for help.
