Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications, requirements, and user stories.
- Design and maintain test documentation and test cases.
- Prepare and configure software and hardware testing environments.
- Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Validate system behavior against acceptance criteria and business expectations.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug-tracking systems.
- Perform retesting and verify resolved issues.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, customer representatives, and distributed international teams.
- Contribute to shared testing strategies across multiple products.
- Prepare detailed testing reports and provide feedback on software quality and usability.
- Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and adapt workflows to changing project needs.
- Support rapid feature delivery and ensure smooth integration of new functionality into smart home climate products.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial experience in manual testing.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency and proficiency in Ukrainian.
- Good understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and independent-working skills.
- Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset.
- Basic understanding of scripting or programming languages is a plus.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems is a plus.
- Experience with TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test management tools is a plus.
- Experience testing embedded or IoT solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud-integrated systems and familiarity with Lua are a plus.
