Responsibilities
- Build and own a full suite of automated tests in Cypress, beginning with regression coverage.
- Automate manual QA and regression processes.
- Use AI tooling to write, maintain, and triage tests and identify additional testing efficiencies.
- Keep the test framework and CI test runs fast, stable, and easy for developers to contribute to.
- Define test coverage with developers and the product manager before implementation begins.
- Run tests, report defects, and work with developers to resolve them.
- Report on test coverage, quality, and stability and share testing practices with QA teams.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level experience as an SDET or in a similar test automation role.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites in Cypress, or in Playwright or Selenium with the ability to transition to Cypress.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript; C# is an asset.
- Practical experience using AI tools in a development or testing workflow.
- Experience with unit and integration test frameworks such as Jest or xUnit.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Criminal background check required.
