Responsibilities
- Lead strategic, end-to-end technology initiatives for fraud and scam protection platforms.
- Design, build, operate, and optimise scalable API services, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, and influence platform, integration, and cloud-native solution design.
- Own the full software delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, operations, production support, and ongoing optimisation.
- Shape engineering standards and deliver secure, reliable, resilient, high-performing customer experiences.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET, C#, and AWS, with experience designing, building, and operating scalable cloud-native applications.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems with emphasis on scalability, resilience, security, and performance.
- Experience owning software delivery from ideation and architecture through development, testing, deployment, operations, and support.
- Strong architectural capability, including system design, solution architecture, technical leadership, and architecture assessments.
- Experience with observability, secure API design, authentication, authorisation, secrets management, databases, automated testing, performance optimisation, and operational readiness.
- Experience with React and TypeScript is beneficial for full-stack contribution; Java experience is considered where the candidate is willing to transition to .NET.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, and deployment practices is beneficial.
