Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and scale enterprise AI systems, including multi-component pipelines, RAG architectures, and autonomous AI agents.
  • Lead AI model adaptation and customization for legal, tax, fraud, compliance, and other specialized domains.
  • Define technical standards, architecture practices, evaluation approaches, and AI technology roadmaps.
  • Drive proof-of-concept projects, technical feasibility assessments, and adoption of emerging AI techniques.
  • Integrate AI models into production systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Manage the lifecycle of enterprise AI applications through MLOps/LLMOps, deployment, metrics, and evaluations.
  • Mentor senior and junior software engineers and lead technical initiatives.
  • Partner with researchers, product, design, engineering leadership, and senior stakeholders to shape AI products and strategy.
  • Represent the organization in executive forums, industry conferences, and other public technical settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior or lead AI/ML-focused roles.
  • Experience with Generative AI, RAG, LLMs, agentic tools, evaluations, deployment, solution lifecycle management, and metrics.
  • Expert-level Python proficiency and extensive experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning principles, advanced evaluation methodologies, and distributed system design.
  • Proven experience with MLOps/LLMOps and the complete lifecycle of enterprise AI applications.
  • Advanced experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience leading teams that build AI-driven systems, agent-based architectures, or enterprise integrations with AI APIs from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Advanced knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and information retrieval systems.
  • Domain expertise in legal, tax, accounting, or other regulated industries.
  • Track record of launching AI products and scaling AI systems for enterprise customers.
  • Experience with AI governance, model risk management, regulatory compliance, and innovative LLM-based solutions.
  • Publications, patents, speaking experience, strong communication skills, and experience influencing senior stakeholders are valued.
