Responsibilities
- Own pricing problems end to end, including writing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and validating production systems.
- Partner with Product to translate business goals into technical strategy and measurable acceptance criteria.
- Design and build scalable distributed systems for latency- and correctness-critical pricing decisions.
- Create automated quality checks, investigate root causes, and prevent recurring issues.
- Use AI tooling to accelerate implementation, root-cause analysis, and test coverage.
- Set technical direction for performance, reliability, and correctness while raising engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- Experience using C++ as a primary language in latency- and correctness-critical systems.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems independently.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to reason about reliability, performance, correctness, subsystem contracts, and cross-service debugging.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business goals into technical solutions and measure outcomes.
- Proactive collaboration with Product and engineering peers, including confidently challenging unclear framing.
- Golang experience is a strong plus.
