Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance and feedback.
- Drive architectural decisions, technical standards, coding patterns, and project structure guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and feasibility.
- Design scalable front-end architectures using React, Vite, and TanStack Query.
- Architect back-end APIs and services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Integrate AI capabilities, use AI tools such as Claude to improve productivity, and implement agentic AI features and intelligent automation.
- Lead refactoring initiatives, address technical debt, and champion security and defensive coding practices.
- Design comprehensive automated testing strategies and write unit and integration tests.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead technical discussions and incident response.
- Own deployment procedures, create release runbooks, and maintain technical documentation and architectural decision records.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 6 years of professional full-stack development experience with demonstrated progression in technical leadership.
- Expert proficiency with React and modern front-end tooling, including Vite and state management solutions.
- Deep experience with data-fetching libraries such as TanStack Query and performance optimization.
- Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs at scale.
- Experience using AI tools and assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve development productivity and team efficiency.
- Experience designing and implementing agentic AI systems and AI-driven features in production applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
- Extensive experience with Agile development practices and leading Agile teams.
- A proven record of mentoring engineers and fostering technical growth.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; commercial real estate or PropTech; and open-source or technical community contributions.
