Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable full-stack solutions.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Build and optimize server-side components using Node.js and design efficient data storage and retrieval solutions with Postgres.
- Contribute to platform architecture, scalability decisions, technology choices, and system integrations.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor developers.
- Own technically challenging cross-functional projects from strategy through execution.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, customers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile development processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks for the platform.
Requirements
- Extensive professional full-stack development experience, ideally primarily in startup environments.
- Extensive experience working with the stated technology stack.
- Experience owning technically challenging and demanding cross-functional projects.
- Ability to identify valuable projects, communicate strategy, and execute autonomously.
- Strong attention to important details and commitment to high-quality work.
- Customer-first mindset and interest in speaking with customers to improve the product.
- Habit of introspection and understanding factors contributing to past success.
