Responsibilities
- Own critical areas of Android ecosystem safety.
- Lead the design, development, deployment, scaling, and maintenance of large-scale counter-abuse engineering systems.
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and scaling of ML and AI models, including LLMs and generative AI, to protect Android ecosystem stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Influence and mentor a distributed team of engineers.
- Collaborate with multiple partner stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience in speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, or fine-tuning.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with safety, security, privacy, counter-abuse, and AI/ML modeling for classification and system automation.
