Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve internal platform capabilities for AI Efficiency services.
- Build and maintain self-service workflows and reusable platform abstractions.
- Improve platform reliability through better monitoring and incident readiness.
- Define and operationalize service health indicators and reliability metrics.
- Build automation to reduce operational toil and improve incident response.
- Partner with engineers to embed operability and maintainability into system design.
- Improve CI/CD systems and developer workflows for safer and faster shipping.
- Identify platform and reliability risks and drive improvements.
- Troubleshoot AI model-serving issues across various environments.
- Design and run resilience and failure-mode testing.
- Evaluate and operate AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Build automation pipelines that integrate conventional CI/CD with agentic workflows.
- Define guardrails and approval workflows for AI-assisted automation.
- Establish evaluation frameworks for AI-native development tooling.
- Lead incident response and post-incident improvement work.
- Champion platform and operational excellence through documentation and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or a similar role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing and operating internal platforms or developer tooling.
- Experience with cloud-based production systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of observability practices.
- Experience improving reliability for distributed systems or APIs.
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of containerized environments and orchestration platforms.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
