Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI solutions and AI agents within SAP systems.
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing AI applications on SAP BTP and SAP BDC.
- Use SAP AI, integration, data, analytics, and machine learning services to develop innovative solutions.
- Develop and manage APIs and microservices integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Apply SAP BTP capabilities to data orchestration, analytics, and machine learning model deployment.
- Identify opportunities for AI integration and automation across SAP landscapes.
- Optimize SAP systems for AI-driven analytics, predictive insights, and real-time decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and SAP best practices.
- Translate industry-specific business process requirements and desired outcomes into AI technical designs and solution architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams and collaborate with business and solution stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 10–15 years of applicable technical experience.
- Proven experience as a data scientist with expertise in AI technologies, preferably including SAP BTP.
- Proficiency with SAP BTP services including SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch and programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, vector engines, knowledge graphs, A2A, and MCP technologies.
- Front-end knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Fiori Web Components, and calling APIs.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and SAP Fiori application development.
- Deep understanding of data science algorithms and strong business process acumen.
- At least five years of AI development experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and extensions using SAP BTP or SAP BDC preferred.
- Experience in at least one industry domain and end-to-end business process design and realization across SAP Business Suite solutions preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
