Responsibilities
- Design and operate reliable, scalable, and cost-conscious Workspace cloud infrastructure and application services across AWS and Azure.
- Develop and refine SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, observability practices, and incident-management processes.
- Provide technical direction on distributed systems, Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, cloud networking, storage, security, and high-availability design.
- Investigate complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve operational health and prevention measures.
- Automate infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and operational processes using GitLab and Terraform.
- Support cloud governance, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and secure engineering practices.
- Share SRE and cloud knowledge, mentor less experienced engineers, and develop reusable platform patterns.
Requirements
- Substantial senior- or principal-level experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or DevOps with hands-on production systems experience.
- Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes-based platforms such as EKS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with SRE concepts, observability practices, CI/CD tooling such as GitLab, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud-native networking and high-availability design.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based teams.
