Responsibilities
- Design and deliver core platform capabilities across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, CI/CD systems, and developer tooling.
- Architect, build, and operate reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud-native platforms.
- Lead the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based workflows.
- Build and maintain internal platform services and tooling that improve developer experience and delivery velocity.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation practices across engineering teams.
- Partner with application teams to align platform capabilities with developer needs and unblock delivery.
- Lead complex cross-team initiatives and provide technical clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Improve operational excellence through observability, automation, and incident response.
- Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering.
- Proficiency with Python and Java; familiarity with Kotlin and Go is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proven CI/CD and GitOps experience.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Strong AWS and cloud-native experience.
- Experience operating distributed, high-availability systems.
- Ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively across regions.
- Experience with internal developer platforms or portals, FinOps or cloud cost management, regulated or high-availability environments, backend development, or AI-assisted development tools is desirable.
