Responsibilities
- Define enterprise-wide standards, prompt engineering patterns, and validation frameworks for AI integration.
- Identify and quantify risks and business impacts associated with AI-generated code, including security vulnerabilities and over-abstraction.
- Design and evolve highly available, scalable cloud-native infrastructure.
- Architect CI/CD ecosystems and developer tooling to improve software delivery productivity.
- Implement platform security safeguards and compliance standards.
- Set the strategic roadmap for monitoring, tracing, alerting, and operational reliability.
- Translate requirements across engineering, product, and quantitative teams into scalable platform solutions.
- Mentor engineers, manage incident response strategies, and promote operational excellence and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of platform engineering or DevOps experience in scalable, high-availability cloud-native environments.
- Expertise using Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding collaborators to ship production code.
- Ability to evaluate AI tools and implement validation strategies for security gaps, over-abstraction, and other risks.
- Deep expertise with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python; Golang experience is preferred.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability, chaos testing, and incident management.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, influence cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers.
- Preferred qualifications include startup experience, open-source or technical community contributions, real-money transaction and regulatory compliance experience, developer tooling experience, and leading without authority.
