Responsibilities
- Build and fine-tune traditional machine learning models for regression and classification, including sales forecasting and growth prediction.
- Perform feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, model testing, and evaluation.
- Prepare unified analytical datasets by handling missing values, duplicates, inconsistencies, and data from multiple sources.
- Use AWS S3 and Amazon Redshift for data ingestion, storage, and retrieval.
- Develop and present modeling outputs in Jupyter Notebooks.
- Communicate model outputs, performance metrics, and insights to business stakeholders and collaborate with client technical and business teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in traditional machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Strong command of Python and experience with Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter Notebooks.
- Hands-on experience building and fine-tuning models for regression and classification using time-series and tabular data.
- Experience with model testing and evaluation, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and data preparation.
- Working knowledge of AWS S3 and Amazon Redshift.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision alongside client business and technical teams.
- Retail or store-domain knowledge, including retail KPIs, store segmentation, and reporting concepts, is preferred.
- Ability to present model outputs and insights to non-technical business stakeholders is preferred.
