Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to communicate Datadog’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Deliver product and technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Support technical evaluations and proofs of concept during the pre-sales lifecycle.
  • Collaborate directly with product teams on customer feature requests.
  • Assist customers with product onboarding and help remove technical obstacles.
  • Learn new technologies continuously and develop competitive product knowledge.
  • Think creatively about varied technical challenges and escalate customer-reported bugs when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools.
  • Comfort and confidence delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to external customers or internal teams.
  • Ability to think creatively across varied challenges and learn continuously.
  • Experience administering Windows or Linux systems.
  • Ability to sit for up to four hours while traveling to or working at client sites.
  • Ability to travel by car, train, or air for up to 25% of the time.
  • A passion for technology and willingness to develop capabilities are encouraged even if all qualifications are not met on the first day.
