Responsibilities
- Architect and develop new ServiceNow applications and end-to-end platform solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for critical ServiceNow programs at Fortune 500 clients.
- Lead and mentor ServiceNow developers and technical architects, including technical direction, coaching, and quality oversight.
- Advise C-suite executives, sponsors, stakeholders, and enterprise architects on governance, program, business process, and technical problems.
- Establish and enforce architecture and engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, and platform governance.
- Drive continuous improvements to implementation methodologies and ServiceNow service offerings.
- Identify opportunities to deliver additional client value and support ServiceNow account teams, sales pursuits, and account growth.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for large, complex, or high-risk ServiceNow programs.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience with ServiceNow in a technical architecture, lead engineering, or equivalent senior technical role, including end-to-end solution ownership.
- At least 8 years of experience driving enterprise IT transformation and platform strategy, preferably in consulting or professional services.
- At least 6 years of experience leading and mentoring ServiceNow developers or technical architects.
- At least 6 years of experience establishing and enforcing architectural and engineering standards, including code and design reviews and platform governance.
- At least 6 years of advanced ServiceNow scripting and development experience, including JavaScript and platform APIs; SQL experience is preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid environments.
- At least three ServiceNow certifications, including System Administrator/CSA and Application Developer/CAD; CIS-ITSM or an equivalent domain certification is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; an associate’s degree may qualify with at least six additional years of relevant experience.
- Experience with enterprise data architectures, integrations, cloud-native patterns, cloud migration or modernization, and ServiceNow integrations with AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Experience building proofs of concept, prototypes, or innovation pilots and shaping platform strategy or center-of-excellence models is preferred.
- Strong executive communication, analytical, systems-thinking, problem-solving, leadership, stakeholder influence, and technical advisory skills are required.
