Responsibilities
- Own full-stack feature delivery from database schema design and API implementation through React UI development and deployment.
- Design and build scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Architect and integrate Azure-hosted services, including Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure AI, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Embed AI capabilities into products using LLM APIs, prompt pipelines, Azure OpenAI, or Cognitive Services.
- Use AI tools for code generation, debugging, test coverage, and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning with engineering teams and client stakeholders.
- Instrument, monitor, and optimize performance across backend and frontend systems.
- Contribute documentation, tooling, shared patterns, and mentoring for less senior teammates.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional full-stack experience with Node.js and React or Next.js.
- Strong TypeScript fluency.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Functions, App Service, Blob Storage, or DevOps.
- Strong relational database skills, including schema design, query optimization, and indexing; PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated active use of AI tools in an engineering workflow.
- Familiarity with JWT, OAuth 2.0, and session handling.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Excellent async written communication in English.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Cognitive Services, Next.js, React Server Components, micro-frontends, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, prompt engineering, message queues, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, consulting, or client-facing engineering.
