  • Maintain access, deletion, objection, redaction, and reporting workflows across warehouses and distributed data stores while handling legal holds, exemptions, and cross-system identities.
  • Classify and tag personal and sensitive data and enforce appropriate redaction methods such as hard deletion, nullification, pseudonymization, tokenization, and encryption.
  • Design and operate consent signal propagation from capture through tag managers, event pipelines, web, mobile, email, server-to-server channels, ad platforms, CDPs, and data warehouses.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on consent management platform release management, QA, and production troubleshooting.
  • Translate privacy requirements into production engineering decisions, participate in privacy and security reviews, and escalate issues with Legal and Privacy.

  • Experience designing or maintaining multi-step workflows with independent failure modes, checkpointing, resumability, and idempotent retries.
  • Experience independently driving production incidents to resolution, including reconstructing partially processed pipeline state from logs, database state, or audit trails.
  • Experience deploying and operating services in containerized environments, including Kubernetes basics, observability, and secure secrets and credential handling.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data warehouses, and databases sufficient to build and validate deletion, redaction, and reporting logic.
  • Ability to translate privacy requirements into concrete engineering work and communicate technical and regulatory tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working fluency with AI assistants, coding agents, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience in several privacy-related areas, such as GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA, Argentina's Ley 25.326, Kafka-based event systems, distributed deletion, PII tagging, backend consent enforcement, or third-party privacy platforms.
  • Preferred experience includes regulated industries, privacy-enhancing techniques, Google Consent Mode, server-side tag management, role-based access control, column-level masking, data catalogs, dbt, data lineage, Snowflake, Kotlin/JVM, Transcend, DataGrail, OneTrust, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
