Responsibilities
- Design and ship billing capabilities end to end.
- Build for correctness first, focusing on financial data integrity.
- Own the interfaces for billing APIs and revenue datasets.
- Make build-vs-buy decisions regarding third-party platforms.
- Manage the payments stack, including authorization rates and fraud controls.
- Reduce manual work in enterprise contract amendments and billing support.
- Operate and monitor the systems you ship, ensuring SLOs are met.
- Collaborate with various departments to meet their billing needs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building backend or platform systems in production.
- Proven track record of shipping in fast-paced environments.
- Strong focus on correctness and data integrity in system design.
- Enjoy working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
