Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, scalable fullstack solutions integrating with enterprise EHR systems.
- Build and maintain healthcare data integrations leveraging FHIR and HL7 messaging.
- Develop identity resolution and patient matching capabilities across clinical systems.
- Partner with various teams to implement compliant workflows for healthcare processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors to troubleshoot integration issues and ensure production reliability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of fullstack software engineering experience building scalable web applications and APIs.
- Proficiency in healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7.
- Experience with national health information exchange frameworks like TEFCA or Carequality.
- Practical experience integrating with enterprise EHR systems, ideally Epic.
- Ability to manage secure API authentication and system-to-system communication.
- Experience promoting software across tiered clinical environments.
- Knowledge of high-assurance identity standards and healthcare security requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring less experienced team members.
