Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain UI, API, and integration test automation frameworks.
- Write maintainable Playwright and API automation covering critical workflows, edge cases, and role-based permissions.
- Integrate test automation with Allure reporting, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze automation runs, triage failures, debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive fixes with development teams.
- Drive automation best practices, test data strategy, quality metrics, and quality trend reporting.
- Review and merge automation code changes and collaborate with developers and product managers to build quality into releases.
Requirements
- Require 3+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer in product-based, fast-paced environments.
- Require strong programming skills in JavaScript; TypeScript is a plus.
- Require hands-on experience building and maintaining Playwright-based UI and API test automation.
- Require experience integrating automation frameworks with Allure reports, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Require experience analyzing automation runs, triaging failures, implementing fixes, and reporting results.
- Require experience conducting code reviews, merging code changes, and maintaining Git-based workflows.
- Require working proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot, including the ability to review and validate generated tests and code.
- Prefer experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Prefer exposure to security testing and role-based permission testing.
