FireblocksResponsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services for high-volume on-chain transaction flows across multiple blockchain networks.
- Own backend components and APIs from architecture decisions through production deployment.
- Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on-chain data sources, blockchain nodes, and multiple blockchain ecosystems.
- Research emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and standards.
- Optimize production systems for performance, reliability, security, latency, and throughput.
- Collaborate with product, protocol research, and platform engineering teams.
- Drive features from inception through delivery at scale and own the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep blockchain and Web3 experience, including transaction lifecycles, consensus mechanisms, smart contract interactions, and on-chain data.
- Experience with multiple EVM-compatible and non-EVM blockchain ecosystems, including examples such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Solana, TON, and Tron.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and operating microservices in production CI/CD environments.
- Strong understanding of security principles, cryptography, and blockchain security best practices.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols such as AMMs, lending markets, bridging infrastructure, or on-chain routing is preferred.
- Experience with Web3 tooling and libraries such as ethers.js, viem, web3.js, and Solana web3.js.
- Demonstrated experience taking products from inception to delivery at scale.
- Full-stack experience with React and frontend development is preferred.
