Responsibilities
- Design and operate highly available backend services for authentication, authorization, and certificate lifecycle management across Pure1 cloud and appliance environments.
- Own services end to end, from architectural design and STRIDE threat modeling through deployment, observability, and cost optimization.
- Partner with Security Governance and product teams to translate security requirements into automated workflows and secure remote-access integrations.
- Participate in a global follow-the-sun on-call rotation, conduct root-cause analysis, and harden security-sensitive infrastructure against emerging threats.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code patterns that enforce least-privilege access and improve security posture and deployment velocity.
Requirements
- Proficiency building and scaling production-grade backend services, ideally with Go or Python, in AWS or similar major cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of PKI and certificates, TLS/mTLS, OAuth/OIDC, IAM, and defense-in-depth security principles.
- Hands-on experience with production software development lifecycle practices, Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling, and observability for mission-critical services.
- Ability to analyze complex infrastructure challenges and deliver incremental milestones while maintaining auditability and safety.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to participate in shared global operational responsibilities.
- Ability to work primarily from the Prague office in accordance with company policy.
