Responsibilities
- Design and build the agent runtime, orchestration, state and memory management, and shared agent SDK.
- Build and operate the tool and connector layer, including MCP servers for internal data, systems, and third-party services.
- Develop LLM-based agents for internal workflows and convert reusable components into platform capabilities.
- Implement integrations that enable agents to take automated actions on behalf of users.
- Build model gateway and governance capabilities.
- Establish secure-by-default permissioning, data-access boundaries, PII handling, prompt-injection defenses, and audit logging.
- Evaluate and improve AI model and agent performance, quality, and observability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar AI-agent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-agent architectures.
- Production engineering experience with REST APIs, asynchronous services, external data integrations, containers, and CI/CD.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLM providers, vector stores, MCPs, LLM evaluation and observability tooling, LLMOps, RAG systems, AI security and safety, AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
