Golang Software Engineer
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design and build high-performance backend systems in Go.
- Solve engineering challenges involving concurrency, distributed systems, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Own technical capabilities end-to-end from design and implementation through testing, deployment, production troubleshooting, and improvement.
- Integrate new data sources, storage systems, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
- Influence platform architecture and technical direction as system scale and complexity increase.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps/SRE teams.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on Go expertise used as a primary language for production software.
- Experience designing and building complex backend or distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
- Strong knowledge of concurrency, distributed-system design, performance optimization, fault tolerance, and system reliability.
- Strong analytical, debugging, production-investigation, performance-analysis, and system-level problem-solving skills.
- Experience taking technical solutions from design through production with ownership of quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Ability to contribute collaboratively to architecture and technical decisions across teams.
