Base Salary
$175k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define application architecture patterns, reference designs, and engineering standards.
- Review major solution designs for scalability and maintainability.
- Guide teams on modularity, APIs, service boundaries, and reusable components.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Solution Architecture on design decisions.
- Contribute to roadmap planning by identifying architectural dependencies.
- Mentor engineering teams on design quality and architecture best practices.
- Support code and design review processes for high-impact initiatives.
- Document and evolve application standards as the portfolio grows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software architecture or senior application engineering experience.
- Expertise in APIs, modular applications, integration patterns, and scalable system design.
- Ability to communicate architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable influencing without becoming a bottleneck.
- Consistent commitment to reuse, clarity, and technical quality.
- Experience in cloud-based and enterprise application environments.
- Bachelor's degree required.
