Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack Java web applications for a multi-tenant meter data management system.
- Continuously improve application code and development processes in a DevOps-oriented environment.
- Work on customer projects and collaborate with Itron teams and products to bring new features to market.
- Mentor others in areas of expertise.
- Handle support queries escalated from support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Java and the Spring framework.
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and UX.
- Experience in an agile DevOps environment and with Linux as a development environment.
- Familiarity with relational database concepts, NoSQL databases, concurrency, RESTful web services, Chef, Solr, Docker, Git, and Jenkins is preferred.
- Fluency in English and strong communication and teamwork skills.
