Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy integrated embedded real-time software across firmware, FPGA, and hardware systems.
- Work with cross-disciplinary IPT members to define and improve product concepts, implementation, testability, and measurable quality.
- Develop and integrate software for edge or embedded devices and subsystems supporting autonomous avionics systems.
- Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced staff.
- Contribute to proposals and preliminary and critical design reviews.
- Collaborate across the product line with product owners, chief engineers, management, and other teams using Lean and Agile practices.
- Obtain required program access.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in at least two of embedded C++ software, embedded software security, and software architecture design and implementation.
- Experience with embedded real-time operating systems such as Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux.
- Experience developing complex systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software.
- An active and transferable final Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date, with the ability to obtain program access.
- U.S. citizenship because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred familiarity with rate-monotonic theory, layered architecture, electrical schematics, VHDL or Verilog, assembly language, laboratory instruments, device drivers, and leading hardware-software integration teams.
