Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy integrated embedded real-time software in heterogeneous hardware, firmware, and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to define and improve product concepts, implementation, testability, quality, reliability, and mission assurance.
- Work with Product Owners, Chief Engineers, management, and Integrated Product Team members using Lean and Agile practices.
- Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced staff.
- Contribute to proposals and preliminary and critical design reviews.
- Work across the product line with other teams and obtain required program access.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience are required.
- Experience in at least two of embedded C++ software, embedded software security, and software architecture design and implementation is required.
- Experience with embedded real-time operating systems, including Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux, is required.
- Experience developing complex systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software is required.
- An active and transferable final Secret U.S. government security clearance is required before the start date, with the ability to obtain program access.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of rate-monotonic theory, layered architecture, electrical schematics, VHDL or Verilog, assembly language, device drivers, lab instruments, and engineering-team leadership.
