Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to understand functional specifications and design requirements.
- Create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones.
- Extend automation frameworks and libraries to support new functionality.
- Own end-to-end test execution for user stories and ensure quality delivery.
- Perform automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
- Create, maintain, and document testbeds and test environments.
- Report, track, and update defects and test cases using test management tools.
- Ensure quality benchmarks are met throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience.
- B.Tech, B.E., M.E., or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Deep understanding of threading, multiprocessing, socket programming, networking protocols, and cloud architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Expertise in RESTful API testing.
- Proficiency with Jira and XRay or similar bug and test management tools.
- Proficiency with Git or SVN.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware is preferred.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra is preferred.
