Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for large or complex projects.
- Design, develop, deliver, maintain, debug, test, and troubleshoot software or infrastructure solutions.
- Resolve complex and escalated project issues while providing advanced technical expertise.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans for efficiency, reliability, and value.
- Collaborate with Development & Engineering and Architecture teams to deliver leading solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for the work group and establish appropriate delivery expectations, processes, tools, and responsibilities.
- Define, maintain, and implement technology standards and technical designs.
- Fine-tune language models, apply embedding models to NLP tasks, design agentic systems, and build evaluation frameworks for AI models and agents.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of C#, Java, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- More than 10 years of applied experience and significant relevant software or platform engineering experience.
- Experience delivering software or platform engineering solutions and providing comprehensive technical advice based on user requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management, and automation tools such as GitHub and ADO.
- Proficiency in language-model fine-tuning for text generation, summarization, or question answering.
- Knowledge of embedding models and their use in similarity matching, clustering, and information retrieval.
- Familiarity with agentic systems that combine AI models with external tools or environments for autonomous decision-making.
- Ability to design AI model and agent evaluation frameworks, including metrics, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking.
- Microsoft, Google, or AWS certifications are advantageous.
- Significant proven experience building applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
