Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, integrate, test, debug, document, and deploy software applications, systems, programs, and processes.
- Research, plan, and deliver software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Gather requirements and translate business and customer needs into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot deployed software, resolve complex issues, and improve application performance, security, and resiliency.
- Define standards for team deliverables and processes and promote continuous improvement of software development practices.
- Assess solution alternatives, system interrelationships, business-process impacts, and issue priorities.
- Collaborate with end users, product owners, business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and executives.
- Act as an escalation point and technical resource for less-experienced colleagues.
- Lead projects or project steps, manage multiple assignments, identify schedule risks, and coordinate remediation.
- Document complex processes and generate supporting diagrams.
- Apply software development standards, security requirements, performance requirements, resiliency requirements, company policies, and regulatory mandates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or an IT-related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software development.
- Experience applying project management methodologies.
- Broad knowledge of software development life cycle protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of an applicable programming language.
- Experience documenting complex processes and creating supporting diagrams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to assess situations and initiate actions independently.
- Experience influencing, leading, and directing individuals across multiple functional areas.
- Strong time-management, interpersonal, relationship-management, customer-service, business-analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, track details, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and manage conflict across teams.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated bias for action.
