Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reusable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build full-stack solutions with appropriate attention to design and code quality.
- Use persistence mechanisms such as RDBMS and NoSQL databases according to business needs.
- Develop in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Implement coding best practices and program code-quality gates.
- Conduct proofs-of-concept based on business needs.
- Coordinate with internal Mastercard groups to support project success.
- Collaborate within an Agile environment.
- Provide technical mentoring and training to junior developers.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
- Full-stack development skills and experience with product development.
- Experience developing online or real-time systems.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience with or desirable knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and digital-native architecture.
- Event-driven architecture experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication, learning, and technical mentoring skills.
