Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, document, debug, and troubleshoot software applications.
- Develop and operate scalable applications across backend and UI layers with emphasis on operational excellence, security, and scalability.
- Build batch and data products primarily using Java and Google Cloud Platform.
- Participate in estimation, requirements and use case specifications, test plan and test case reviews, project planning, and architecture discussions.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues and triage, track, and resolve product or system issues.
- Integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
- Lead sprint deliverables and solve problems of medium complexity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with software design and Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- At least 2 years of experience with software build management tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- At least 2 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend or web development.
- At least 2 years of experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques and strategies.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Proficiency in UI development, Angular, Node.js, Java, REST, microservices, RDBMS, Git, and Jenkins is preferred.
- Google Cloud Platform certification, such as Associate Cloud Engineer, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skills.
